About The PC Nanny
I have worked in the computer field since I was six years old. My dad owned a computer company in the Silicon Valley where I spent a lot of my childhood working at the office with my parents. I was indoctrinated into every aspect of my parent's company and became one of the youngest computer technicians in the Bay Area.
My dad taught me how to rebuild fuel injection computers for cars and subsequently became an indispensable member of the O'Brien team in the use and application of computer programs and many other aspects of the company's operations.
After high school I worked for a cellular phone company where I programmed and repaired cellular phones. I actually "cloned" phones allowing my customers to have 2 cellular phones with the same number. Unfortunately, the FCC banned that technology so I had to find another avenue to utilize my technical skills.
I received my Microsoft Certification (MCSE) in May of 2000. My son Tyler was born shortly after I obtained my certification. Parenthood has taught me a new way of tackling problems especially in relation to the IT industry. I have become much more patient in the way I resolve problems especially in an industry that changes so fast and so frequently. I have learned that while technicians like me are able to keep up with the variety of changes that this profession requires other people are unable to do so for a variety of reasons. Understandig my clients and their needs is the core of the care I provide my clients. Furthermore, I provide my customers with quality service at very reasonable rates.
Over the years I have worked with many companies and individuals and I have acquired extensive and invaluable experience in the IT industry. I welcome the opportunity to apply my experience to resolve your computer problems that may save you considerable time and money by retaining my services.
